Public Assistance Requested in Dinsmore Boat Ramp Murder Case

Dinsmore Boat Ramp Murder Jacksonville FloridaJACKSONVILLE, FL (November 5, 2012) – On Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 1:35 p.m. homicide detectives began investigating a possible murder at the Dinsmore Boat Ramp at 6841 Dunn Avenue Terrace.

Detectives need information about this victim

The victim, Jerome Angelo Faulk Jr, was found deceased in the water. Foul play is suspected in the victim’s death.
Investigators are asking that anyone who has seen or had contact with Faulk in the recent past are encouraged to call JSO Homicide at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS to remain anonymous and be eligible for a possible reward. reports:
Sgt. Gary Nelson of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said JSO was contacted at 12:47 p.m. Sunday by two kayakers who said they first smelled and then saw the remains floating against the shore at Dinsmore Boat Ramp, a city park at the intersection of Dunn Avenue and New Kings Road. Officers put a vessel into the water and retrieved the body.
